Your Private, Safe Therapeutic Environment
I created my private practice to provide personalized, client-centered care that supports your unique journey. I believe you already have the strength and ability to shape the life you want. My role is to help you tap into your resilience, break free from self-defeating patterns, and move toward a more fulfilling, authentic life.
I use a range of therapeutic approaches rooted in mind-body-spirit healing, including traditional talk therapy and somatic techniques like Brainspotting. These methods help clear internal barriers by leveraging the brain and body’s natural ability to adapt and heal. True therapy is more than symptom management—it’s about realigning with your authentic self and finding greater ease in daily life.
Therapy reflects the way you engage with the world. If you struggle to speak up, you’ll learn to find your voice here. Because lasting change takes commitment, I encourage writing and other reflective practices to deepen your self-awareness and growth.
We typically start with weekly sessions, then transition to bi-weekly as you gain confidence in applying what you’ve learned. Over time, we may move to monthly or as-needed support. Your therapy process will evolve, always tailored to your needs.
To be nobody–but–yourself — in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else — means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight. e.e. cummings
…to which I add “and never stop fighting.”
More About Me
I hold a Master’s degree (MSS) in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and have a rich, diverse background that informs my therapeutic approach. Having moved frequently and reinvented myself along the way, I understand the challenges of transition, adaptation, and personal growth.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a programmer and systems analyst in Southern California and Texas, studied art history and sculpture at the École des Arts in Belgium, and pursued additional studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. My lifelong love of learning and creativity continues to shape my work, helping clients navigate change and reconnect with their authentic selves.
In my personal time, I enjoy creating art and spending time with my CavaPoo, Merlin.
